Its that time of the year again , where I celebrate MY Birthday with YOU !!
My mother and I started these "BIRTHDAY SHOWS" 10 years ago and we like to see this UMSEBENZI as a THANKS GIVING CEREMONY for an amazing year ahead and we also say THANK YOU for a great year that was !
The BIRTHDAY SHOWS were held in various hotspots of JOZI , spots like , CATWALK in Fourways, BROWN SUGAR in Sandton, 3years at the HORROR CAFE in Newtown, CRUSH in Troyeville , and SUN CITY Rustenburg while I was contracted for my Extravaganza Show there. Every show is blanketed with a theme, the past themes have been exciting and creative, such as "Summer in the Jungle" , 'Viva le artists", "All angels party" , "The 60's are back", "Celebrate the Celebrity in you" , "Party in my pool", "A Dash of Gold" , "2010 Be a Sport", "Fierce and Fabulous in RED" AND THIS YEARS THEME IS : "HATS OFF TO 2012" ... LIFE IS GOLDEN !!!

 For the past 10 years Khabonina’s annual Birthday shows has become one of the hottest tickets in town! Set on an auspicious month of January, the annual show has solidified its place as one of the most anticipated first of the year red carpet events on the social calendar. Year after year industry heavy weights and Khabonina’s friends and supporters converge to celebrate a birthday of a passionate artist. For one night only Khabonina’s friends are treated to an evening of music, dance, fashion, and so much more!

Heres a brief history and insight into to the "BIRTHDAY SHOWS" ...

^.Khabonina and her mother Portia started these Birthday shows ten years ago with the aim of giving a platform to talented yet unknown artists to showcase their talent and most importantly offers them the privilege of sharing a stage with some of SA’s mega stars. The shows have been known to be packed with lots of entertainment and networking opportunities with important people in the entertainment industry.
Previous performers and guests at Khabonina’s annual birthday show include: Renowned choreographer and artist Somizy Mhlongo, Metro FM Dj and entrepreneur DJ Sbu , Singer Nothende , Metro FM Dj. Lulo Café, SA poet Ntsiki Mazwai , Fashionista Uyanda Mbuli , ETV Actor and musician Wright Ngubeni, Poet and Actress Lesego Motsepe, singer Kelly Khumalo, Khanyi Mbau, Three some, fashion show by SABC 1’s Fezile Makhaya, poet Jessica Mbangeni, World renowned choreographer Gregory Maqoma, African Footprint cast, so you think you can dance season one and two’s Thabiso Lekuba (mc) and Xolani, Channel O’s Angelo Collins, Phila Masibuko, Rhythm City cast, Muvhango cast, celebrity make up artist Nthato Mashishi, Designer Thula Sindi, Face of Garnier Zizo Beda of Selimathunzi, and the wonderful Ses'Khona crew with Hlengiwe, to mention but a few.

 　

MOVING THE BIRTHDAY SHOWS OUT OF GAUTENG TO OTHER PROVINCES ...

This year marks our 11th year of celebrating and loving the arts, and we strongly feel that we need to move and share this spectacle with the whole of SOUTH AFRICA !!! So, we are taking the BIRTHDAY SHOWS all over the provinces and giving all the young and up coming talent a chance to shine and share the stage with KHABONINA and surprise guests present !!! Our first province is Mpumalanga , we will set it on FIRE ... *watch*

The red carpet 2012 birthday Show is set to take place on the 28th of January 2012 in MPUMALANGA at CAPPELLO in Nelspruit
Party guests can expect an evening packed with lots of performances, guest appearances, a fashion show, and plenty of give aways.
Khabonina will set the Stage on fire with her passionate performance and she will share the stage with Mpumalanga's finest talent !'
