Again , I can only say THANK YOU LORD for this opportunity to touch lives and make a difference in a child's 'LITTERATE' life !!!
The Book Club is growing in numbers, more and more kids are joining in the fun . (read previous Book Club blog to see what we do in this club) They now know how to use the Library , how to handle and take care of a book and ALL the kids in the Book Club have read more than 15 books each !!!!! whaaaaaaaaaat ... (This has inspired me to read even more and start my "DACIOUS BOOK REVIEW" ... see next Blog) *TOOOOOOO EXCITING .... OK, back to BCWK... "Book Club With Khabonina" - for the slow ones)*
HIGHLIGHTS : Kids choosing a book from the Library and telling a 'Moving Story' ... ie. They rotate narrating the story and the rest act it out !!! This was fun to initiate and facilitate, but when the kids took it over , they created a beautiful monster... !! I mean , imagine this ... a "SNOW WHITE" from e Kasi , married to a Nigerian prince with the 7 dwarfs ranging from abo LITTLE WAYNE , RICK ROSS , JUSTIN BIEBER to KIM KARDASHIAN !!! *I repeat, YOU. MUST.SEE.THIS.*
